My passion is helping patients with their health problems. After of medical education, I realized that my true calling was in
Osteopathic Manipulative and Neuromusculskeletal medicine.
Dr. Iza Jordan is an Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine specialist who utilizes osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) to help her patients. After growing up just outside of Jacksonville, Florida, Dr. Jordan received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Florida, followed by a master’s degree from the University of South Florida. Her interest in medicine from an early age led her to obtain her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine – Georgia Campus and subsequently complete residency training in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and OMT.
She is skilled in osteopathic diagnosis, as well as performing several osteopathic treatments from head to toe to alleviate musculoskeletal pains. With a special interest in caring for children, she also applies a variety of pediatric OMT techniques. Dr. Jordan enjoys this specialty because of the immediate relief that patients notice. In addition to the hands-on treatment of OMT, Dr. Jordan is proficient at performing interventional injections, such as trigger point, prolotherapy, platelet-rich-plasma and joint injections. In her free time, she enjoys bowling and reading mystery novels.
